Waterman updated it’s packaging and names of their inks. but the colors and the ink formulation remain exactly the same,  So you may have the exact same ink with a different exterior looks.

Because fountain pens work on the capillary principle, The ink need to be dye based. Pigment inks contain solid particles in a liquid suspension, and they tend to clog the narrow pipes of the pens. Some pigmented inks do exist for fountain pens, but not many. India ink, a carbon pigment-based ink, is one of them, also contains arabica gum which can clog the pens. The ideal fountain pen ink has to have a free-flow, no sediments, and be non-corrosive. These qualities sometimes, are compromised because of ink permanence, or because of the use of some chip dyes. That’s why is important to buy ink from reputable manufacturers like Waterman.

Some users mix inks to create new colors. This may cause color changes, even if the inks are from the same manufacturer. This is a result of chemical reactions between the ink components. Mixing them, may also alter their solubility; for example, an alcohol-based ink may contain components that are insoluble in water, and these will precipitate or coagulate if the ink is mixed. So generally speaking,  is not a good idea to mix inks.
