Description
Visconti Divina Fountain Pen introduced by Visconti, a perfect pen in form and as precise as a cut gem. Visconti pen’s history starts in Florence, Italy. A place of art and culture. Because of the city stands as an important industrial center, luxury and fashion are typical there.
Luigi Poli and Dante del Vecchio, two friends who met in Florence, both decided to turn a common passion into a business. They founded Visconti pens on October 20, 1988. The first pen collection launched by the company, named “Classic”; the pens used celluloid, an excellent material also employed in numerous pen collections. They have such a success that the next year, in 1989, the company developed “Urushi,” their first limited edition of 100 pieces.
Visconti Black Divina Fountain Pen
An addition to the Divine Proportion limited edition released last year. The new Visconti Divina has the same spiral-shaped body and proportion based on the golden number of 1.618. The ideal creative ratio in Western art and science. The pen’s jet black lucite barrel and cap also comes with trims in 925 sterling silver for a look that is striking and bold. It fits comfortably in hand, inviting you to write.
The Divina fountain pen features a 14K 950 palladium nib that is very flexible while having a good response and a unique Pull and Turn filling system. The innovative hook-safe locking cap system aligns the pen and cap securely. The fountain pen is bottle fill only.
Finally, of all the major pen brands, Visconti might be the one with which we have serious experience. We own several Visconti pens – the Homo Sapiens, Divina, etc. – many of their pens have spoken to us to the point that we have to buy them on the spot. On top of the few unique and limited editions that also have made our “someday” list. We are sure that you will have the same thoughts if you buy one!
