The Iznik Garden Rollerball and Pencil Set by Retro 51 reproduce two stone paste dishes in The Met collection. The Turkish town of Iznik also has renowned for its pottery workshops. The floral and birds themes featured on the original plates were common decorative elements in 16th- and 17th-century Iznik creations.
This pen set has been carefully recreated with the images silkscreened onto the metal barrels of the Tornado twist-top rollerball and 1.15 mm pencil that are finished with polished chrome trim. They are loaded in The Met licensed packaging tube that doubles as a pen stand when it’s not in use.
