With the year winding to a close, We thought that Pelikan would not make new product announcements.  It may come as a surprise then to learn that they have a new product to talk about today as a courtesy of the well-respected German retailer Fritz Schimpf.  The new Pelikan M200 Pastel-Green model set to debut this year, the Pastel-Green.  Pelikan must have had a lot of white resin leftover after they ran the Gold-Marbled pen because we see it utilized in the Pastel Green pen again.

It’s nice to see the company shift some of their attention away from the higher end Souverän range and focus more on their entry-level Classic series.  We also like the fact that Pelikan seems to be experimenting with more unique materials and stepping out of their comfort zone.  In this instance, we have a resin barrel with a marbled pattern of the Pastel-Green.  White resin accents set off the light green, flanking the barrel just like what we saw with the recently released Gold-Marbled.  This one is available here snow, and we are taking orders for immediate shipping.
