Pelikan M-800 Stone Garden

Pelikan’s recently released the M800 Stone Garden Fountain Pen which comes in Pelikan’s standard gift box. Once you remove the lid, a faux leather pouch housing the Stone Garden awaits.  With the pen in hand, the beautiful blue cap and piston knob are the first things that jump out.  The blue strikes a delicate balance of being neither too dark nor too light.  It blends well with the barrel which consists of slightly pearlescent patterns of blues and browns.

The blended colors give depth to the pen. As a result, the design on each pen varies slightly.  In addition to these qualities, you can find all of the usual trappings of the Souveran line.  That means the Pelikan M-800 Stone Garden has two trim rings at the piston knob, two cap bands, a trim ring at the section, a plated cap top, and a pelican beak clip.  The cap top depicts Pelikan’s single chick logo, and the cap band also comes engraved “Pelikan Souveran Germany.”  All of the trims come with a gold-plated finish.
